What We Do

Six focus areas guide our work — from emergency response to long-term community empowerment.

Emergency Relief & Disaster Response

Mobilizing resources quickly when disaster or crisis strikes — including our 2020 COVID-19 food aid campaign for low-income families in Bangladesh, and USDA-linked food distribution here in the U.S.

Children's Education & Child Rights

Improving access to education and protecting the rights of children in vulnerable communities across our network.

Women's Empowerment

Supporting participatory, locally-led initiatives that stimulate self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods for women.

Youth Leadership Development

Investing in the poor and marginalized young people who will lead tomorrow's community initiatives.

Interfaith & Intercultural Peacebuilding

Building inter-ethnic and inter-faith understanding and cooperation to promote human rights, peace and social harmony across a multi-cultural region.

Research & Policy Advocacy

Undertaking participatory action research and publishing work that promotes greater awareness and policy change.

In Practice

Emergency food distribution, on the ground

Our teams work directly with local partners and volunteers to get food and essential supplies to families who need it most — whether that's a food bank distribution here in the U.S. or emergency aid for pandemic-affected families in Bangladesh.
